Our calendar has moved to 1 January 2011 today.
On New Years Eve, our city had a magnificent fireworks to celebrate the new year and farewell 2010. Millions of people joined the celebration.
However on the feng shui calendar 农历 (Chinese farmers calendar), today is 27th November, tiger year 2010. Chinese New Year is on 3 February 2011, and the rabbit year will begin on the 4 Feb 2011.
